I love color contact lenses. I probably tried all colors you can imagine, by different brands. One thing I learned was that some contacts look great on my eyes, while others make them look fake or terrible. After much trial, error and many trials, I discovered the best way to select the best colors lenses for your eyes.
To start, you should know that color contact lenses can be of two types - opaque lenses and enhancement color contacts. Enhancements colors lenses give you eyes a slightly different hue or make your eyes appear brighter and more sparkling. They are only for people with very light eyes, which can be blue, green and grey, as well as light brown. These lenses look natural because they are partially transparent.
Opaque lenses on the other side can totally change your eye's color. These lenses are not transparent, so they are ideal for people with dark eyes. In fact the color part doesn't let any oxygen through. It is important to avoid wearing color lenses longer than 6-8 hours a days for your eyes health. And you should never sleep in them.
